Jackie Keller, LPC

Jackie understands that life can be overwhelming at times, that we often find ourselves trying to make sense of it all and wondering "How did I get to this point?". She knows it takes courage to ask for help. Jackie’s approach to therapy is to provide a relaxed, safe, non judgmental place to work together to helps you or your child become more adjusted emotionally and develop a different point of view. Recognizing the unique challenges each client experiences and building on their strengths is important to Jackie. She integrates various evidence based treatment models in therapy because she believes therapy is not a one-size-fits all.

Jackie has over 15 years of experience in the helping profession in a variety of settings including both residential and outpatient programs, mental health agencies and juvenile justice programs. Her client focus is preteens/teens ages 10-19, both boys and girls, and women of all ages. She specialize with those who have gone through traumatic life events, have mood disorders such as anxiety and depression or are struggling with life transitions. 

Jackie knows that change is possible and looks forward to supporting you through this process.

Caroline Thomas, social worker, therapist and counselor in Traverse City. Helps clients overcome anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting issues and stress with CBT, DBT, PCIT, and EMDR

Caroline Thomas, LMSW

Caroline is a Traverse City native who has worked in Chicago and Seattle and recently returned home to the mitten state. She’s an extrovert who enjoys baking, crafting, and entertaining friends and family in her home. She loves to laugh and seeks joy every day, through her relationships and her work.

Caroline is a clinical social worker licensed in Michigan and Washington. She has been practicing social work since 2009, working in the child welfare system as well as the community mental health system as a Child & Family Therapist and a clinical supervisor.

The foundation of Caroline’s clinical work is a warm and authentic relationship with her clients. Her practice is rooted in a passion for helping families and individuals achieve healthy relationships and happy, fulfilling lives. Her approach is based on social science research: treatments that have been proven to help people find real solutions to real problems.

Isabel Lorton, therapist and counselor in Traverse City. Helps clients overcome anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting issues and stress with CBT, DBT and EMDR

Isabel Lorton, LPC

Isabel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed School Counselor. During her career Isabel has worked as a School Counselor for Chicago Public Schools, a Youth Services Counselor, and a Mental Health Counselor. Isabel focuses on adolescent identity development and adults in life transition.

Isabel believes that there is no secret ingredient to living a good life. Her approach in therapy is to guide and encourage each individual to take small daily steps that will set them on the path they desire. Isabel embraces holistic methods to mental health and believes that taking care of your mind, body and soul come as a package deal.

Isabel earned her Masters Degree in Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. Isabel grew up in the Traverse City area and returned with her husband to raise their two children. She loves reading and yoga. She has been meaning to get back into running since the birth of her second child…. any day now! And she is actively working through her nacho addiction.

Andy Betka


Andy joined Head & Heart Therapeutic Solutions in June 2019 after working twenty years (and one month) in fine dining establishments throughout Michigan. He is excited to apply his love for hospitality to create a warm, inviting and friendly environment at Grand Traverse Wellness Collective!

Scout Thomas

Scout Thomas, a friendly dog who assists with counseling through stress reduction and affection

Scout Thomas also recently relocated from Seattle. Her clinical specialities include cuddling and sneaking face kisses. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, lounging in the sun, and sighing heavily. She is available to join sessions on occasion and provide her keen insight and unfettered affection to clients.
